Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

They are still working on the sound. Houston is going ahead with testimony of Ford Shelly.

The legal fight did not start until after she was in the Bahamas.
I believe what happened was Birkhead called (late May/early June 06) Thompson to see what happened between Anna in him during Nov and Dec 05. Birkhead may have warned Thompson at that time that Anna was going to make the claim that he was the father of the baby. (Stern told Birkhead in late May 06 that Anna was going to run off to be with the real father of the baby who was in FL.)
I think Birkhead then learned about Thompson's vasectomy through Thompson. By then Anna was already settling in the Bahamas.
The legal fight over the house between the 2 of them I believe started right around the end of Sept/beginning of Oct. But Anna was already claiming that B Thompson was the father of the baby before she even went to the Bahamas.
Why the Shelly's help her after this is beyond me. They said they just blew it off and did not question her about her claim because they knew about their father/father in laws vasectomy.

Yes, he and Ben Thompson both. I get really angry at people who think because someone has a southern accent they are hicks, uneducated, stupid, etc...

Oops I forgot this.
I also believe that Birkhead started his claim of fatherhood in the courts right after Stern got on LKL and claimed he was the father of the baby. This was right before B Thompson started his suit against Anna.
