Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I took a look at this thread today and found that I disagreed with most everything that was being said.

This hearing is mesmerizing, and I have to confess that I've wasted two days watching it.

However, my conclusions after watching the hearing wall-to-wall are:

• Barth is far and away the best attorney in the room.
• Virgie is only interested in one thing: money. When I first saw her in the Bahamas, I wondered how she was affording the trips and the attorneys. Yesterday I found out. She's planning to pay the attorneys by getting control of ANS' body and the baby and selling everything that's not bolted down. She's only interested in selling everything she can sell related to ANS. She also obviously lied on the witness stand yesterday. Boy, is she going to be disappointed.
• Howard K. Stern is not the villain that people seem to want to make him out to be. He and ANS had a co-dependant relationship. She got as much from him as he got from her. HKS was the only thing approaching stability in her life. HKS didn't kill anyone and he wasn't trying to keep ANS addicted to drugs. Those theories are nonsense.
• Larry Birkhead is a naive, immature whiner. He didn't begin to understand ANS or to know what was on her mind or to know who else he was sleeping with.
• The best result would be for the body and baby to be given to HKS. The mother only wants money. I shudder to think what the baby's life would be like being raised by Birkhead.

Houston wants Danny's father, Mr. Smith to testify by phone. Barth objects and says that he required her client in person.

Somebody needs to point out that the reason HKS was asked to appear was because he is asking for the body. The judge didn't say all witnesses had to be there in person.

You are entitled to express your own opinion, of course, but I am equally entitled to do so. I believe you are wrong legally and morally on every point you mentioned. This will all catch up with Stern eventually because he is not a smart or an ambitious man. He cannot possibly keep all of these balls in the air especially while living off of his mommy and daddie's retirement income. He will have to find a new woman to free load off of and soon, that is, if he doesn't end up incarcerated for any number of reasons.
