Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Because he's using it to show that Stern is not being cooperative on the paternity issue. When he rules against Stern, he's trying to lay out why.
He must know what the media pundits have been saying about him.
He seems mentally strained.
If the Judge can't fashion a remedy because he doesn't know who the father is...order DNA tests dangit!

I'm just guessing on that, but I'd hate to have to deal with HKS.
He made a deal not to do that and says he won't because he sticks by a deal. Break the deal judge!

Too bad she didn't stay with him. He is the most sane and normal seeming person in this whole entire saga. Including the attorneys and judge!!!!
He may end up giving Virgie control of Anna's remains. That's all he need concern himself with.

Did you catch the part about Stern asking him not to have his name attached to the baby? Did he say that Stern told him it would be bad for her image to have Birkhead's name attached as father, and that's why he wanted him to renounce the fatherhood? Is that what I heard?
I'll bet the judge will use the deal to his advantage in the end: "Hey, you wanted the deal. You weren't willing to prove you were the biological father and I don't give a damn if your name is on the birth certificate. I have before me, several individuals who we know are without a doubt, are the blood relatives of Anna."
What I don't understand is why they're grilling Larry and Virgie about renumeration of photos and videos, yet Howard gets a free pass. Yes, he was asked yesterday and he said "no," but he wasn't at all challenged.

Judge's comments now are way beyond the scope of this trial..
If Birkhead is the real father, then it's none of anyone else's business WHAT he does with the baby or the inheritance.
He seems to be doing his best to pressure the parties into determining paternity.
