Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
The judge always has a comment in his own mind. I'd guess it would be: "And you were the one giving her the drugs, right?? What a wonderful guy!!
I read elsewhere that she was a frequent guest of Hard Rock. It's good for gambling and it's not too far from all the Ft Lauderdale yacht brokerages.
I hope the judge flies Virgie to the Bahamas to hold Danielynn for a little while. That will give her strength!!
Good Morning to you too and Thank you. Do we know who they were puchasing the boat from? And why did Anna have to be there? Couldn't the boat have been brought down to the Bahamas for Anna to look at? Money could've been exchanged electronically. I don't think ANS needed to be there. Nor do i think that a woman who was so agrieved as she was would be particularly interested in buying a boat. All speculation but there are no rules here. But something tells me if there really was a boat to be purchased, it was HKS who wanted it. Or maybe buying the boat was just a ruse, to explain why ANS was in FLA.
Yes, all the "experts" so far, and hosts of the news shows are saying, regarding the burial, "How hard is this? You don't seperate the child from the mother. Why is this dragging on? It's stupid. She should be buried in the Bahamas next to Daniel."
BUT....why isn't the fact emphasized that Billy Smith, Daniel's father, plans to bring him "home" to Texas? This was briefly mentioned in Vergie's testimony then never brought up again. I think Billy Smith should have taken the stand and made his intentions known. This is very important.
Anna didn't have any cash. That's why her home "purchase" became such a problem for her. She wanted to make the payments, but the cash hadn't yet come in. From Trimspa, I'm assuming.
I really doubt that Anna wanted this boat. At very least, HKS certainly seemed to have wanted it a lot more than Anna.
I really have been wondering if that boat wasn't going to be the final nail in Anna's proverbial coffin. No body? No autopsy. She was drunk or high and oopsie, I went to pee and she was gone.
Excellent thought. If she was into boats, she would have been excited to go to the docks....when they first got there. Did that happen??
I guess they'd notify her mother. But that will is the problem. That phoney will wherein ANS supposedly said all money goes to Daniel and zilch for any subsequent children. Hmm. Her lawyer, her friend, let her have a will like this and not update it 5 montha after Daniel died and there is a subsequent child. Hmmm. Guess HKS isn't really the father then, otherwise he'd have changed that will before Daniels body was cold. That stupid phoney will is the only thing keeping HKS in that courtroom because it says that he is the executor and he claims to know her final wishes. But good news is he lost all his credibility yesterday with the judge and even tho the judges courtroom is a circus tent, someone is paying attention to what's happening in there and there should be some criminal investigation happening as we speak.
I'll bet those 2 guys appointed by the judge know. Supposedly, they have interviewed the family members. Would there be any legal reason why Billy Smith couldn't do this?
.
People are reinterred all the time. We found that about 30 people out of 300 had been reinterred by grandchildren to a larger family plot in a larger cemetery. There are now 4 generations all together. It's pretty touching when you think about it.
"Would there be any legal reason why Billy Smith couldn't do this?"
He's the next of kin.
Men should be all over this case. You've got Billy Smith being separated from his son. Was he even invited to his own son's funeral? Did he agree to having him buried in the Bahamas or did HKS and decide for him? You've got Larry Birkhead being denied the chance to determine if he Dannielynn's father and if so that means that he has the right to decide what can be done with ANS. Seriously men should be looking at this and saying "why is the supposed bond with mother and child able to usurp all of my rights as father."
One of Annas friends and HKS on the stand both said ANS never left the hotel room. The friend said that Anna implied she had wanted to leave the room her words being "I can't leave the room". If the friend is telling the truth then Anna was not sick from the start so she coulda looked at the boat if she could've left the room.
But HKS says she never left the room. That she was sick all along. Did they make the trip when Anna was sick? Or did she suddenly get sick when they got to FLA? Hmmm. bad luck there. Shoulda taken some Airborne.
And if she weren't sick from the beginning I can't understand why she didn't take the baby with her. I just can't get passed her leaving the baby. She could'ntve been in her right mind. Well duh there, huh.
Moral of the story is i don't believe she was sick at all. That icing down in the bath tub probably was some way to trick investigators when the found her dead. Maybe a medical professional in our midst knows what putting a person in a tub of ice water does? Particularly when it comes to poisoning? Does it in any way disguise a poisoning?
A boat and ANS was a recipe for disaster ala Natalie Wood.
