Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Does botox count? Because on her last few interviews, you can see recent lip botox.
I don't think I'd mind the coverage so much if I felt something was going to come of it. What's frustrating to me is that we see these circuses so many times, and yet, the only resolution that comes out of it pertains only to the parties at hand. Whether it's OJ or ANS, some very disturbing sides of our legal system are revealed time and time again, but the problems aren't fixed.
I am glad that it appears that Nifong is going to get at least some of what is coming to him, but I worry that some aren't going to take anything more from the Duke case than the knowledge that Nifong was an evil jackass. That case raises all kinds of questions concerning grand jury systems, prosecutorial immunity, reverse racism, etc. Let's act on those questions. If we have to change our laws, then fine.
You are absolutely correct that larger issues such as truth and justice are involved here. My only wish is that we actually do something with the lessons learned.
Go to TMZ...scroll down, and you will see the clown picture. Click it and it will play. Really, really disturbing (there is a small child who is scared of ANS in video...her dad will be called to testify tomorrow...they are the South Carolina family).
But I thought we all discussed that Anna was recovering from recent Breast implant corrective surgery, and that's why she needed pain killers?..

Actually, I think they use collagen in the lips for the 'trout pout.' I could have sworn it was Perper who said ANS had double implants, and had to have them 'fixed' after the birth.
Perper said no recent surgery.
