Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I'm not as positive as you are, so I'll save my money.

Yes they did.
I also believe the Thompsons/Shellys/Fords? knew that ANS was trying to avoid a custody battle with Larry and now they feel used and guilty.
You will notice, in interviews, that the wife is adamant that Larry is the father - she knows that because ANS told her why she wanted to flee to the Bahamas. She also now realizes that her father and Larry were conned/double crossed by HKS' influence over ANS.
Part of that scheme (until HKS decided to claim paternity) included trying to claim G.Ben Thompson was the father, not Larry. The fall back dad was Stern...because of GBT's vasectomy. Stern began to realize just how much power he had accumulated with his name on the birth certificate - bye Daniel, bye Anna.
What have we been saying about the judge?
I can't imagine going back into court after seeing your child's body which I'm sure is in very, very deteriorated shape. Just thinking of the bodies of those I have loved who have passed and my goodness...those were at most, 4 days since death.
They had a fleet of them at the ME's office. Btw, if Larry was there, he wasn't shown leaving...wasn't with Virgie and we know he wouldn't be w/HK$.
Will be interesting to see if HK$ ramps up the tears (just seen his Anna) because he was very calm (and again, the Court TV person said 'not sure if they know they are on the chopper cam.') HK$ was in the back of the building (preceived private area?). Anyway, did not look shaken at all...by contrast Virgie looked broken up.
There maybe yet another entry/exit point in that building. Just a thought.
I don't think that is unusual. I would rather remember people the way they were and not have the memory of their corpse in my head. I've always thought it was unusual to want to have an open casket. I may change my mind at some point, but I don't think so.
I wouldn't say it's unusual. I would much prefer to do things that way. All faiths and nationalities celebrate the end of life in different ways.

How ironic, he's lived his life in front of cameras with her, and today he gets a break.
I think it is a regional thing too. In this area they do the full lid, open casket. Other places I have seen the 'half lid.' It was exampled to me that way.
I have it in MY will...no viewing and right to the crematorium after death..Short and sweet..
