Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I'm working on my income taxes today...my annual exercise in "creative writing"...so I shall have the TV on.
It seems from everything I've read that Howard was not around when she was running the 105 temp. No one has mentioned him as being nearby or his concern or anything about the ice bath or anything about calling a doctor. That doesn't make sense. I'm wondering if the bath was to slow down whatever process was happening in her body until Howard could take off and THAT's why she was found naked.

It's such a shame that , during her "life", he was not so moved by her mental and emotional deterioration.
In the Court of Public Opinion it is clear who is righteous here, but that does not count in the
Court of Law(yers).
Somebody needs to get Judge Napalitano to read this thread. This morning he said that Judge Seidlin could solve the paternity issue TODAY, just by getting a swab from Birkhead and HKS in the courtroom.
UM, what would that do without the baby's DNA, Judge? Baby in Bahamas, and we need THAT DNA.
Howard had a good thing going while Anna was alive, and hopefully, he won't be the executor if this will is thrown out by some miracle. Also, Howard will never permit Anna's family to view the body if he has control of it. I hope the judge follows through and allows EVERYONE to view the body while it's still at the ME's.

Pol' Atteu is one half of the flaming pair who did all those interviews as "insider best friends" of Anna's right after Dannielynn was born and Daniel died. His SO is Patrik Simpson.
I don't think I'd ever heard that she was found naked. Interesting. I've been looking at all the statements that the players made about that 105 degree fever and the ice bath. I have never been able to pin point that bath to a particular day. They keep the details about it sketchy. And the one who usually talked about it was Ron Rale.

Law Without Logic - let's review.
Consider - if HKS was a black, unemployed, live-in boyfriend of a welfare mom, whose son died, followed by the mother's death - in both cases from a drug overdose -
any US family court judge would immediately award the bodies, custody of the baby and all assets to the closest blood next-of-kin.
Case closed.

Well, there is the paternity/custody circus that's going to move over to The Bahamas - and if Stern refuses here and refuses there, we're out of luck - unless, of course, Birkhead is a match.
He said after court that he is 110% sure it will be and was really smiling , so I'm hoping maybe the Myrtles have helped him out, yaknowwhaddimean?
It just would be nice to have HKS's "in-hand" when they get Dannielynn's.

HKS has no visible means of support. He will not (cannot) prove paternity of the baby. He is a possible drug pusher and pimp.
There are no "character" witness vouching for his fitness as a parent, or experience as a child caretaker....neices, nephews or existing children.
That he admitted to sharing ANS with other men - indicates that he has no moral compass for raising a female child under any circumstances.
Hmmmm. Maybe that's why Perper misjudged the timing? Maybe he hasn't been a "coroner of the stars" before....
