Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
She's on CNN. I think she comes on at 8 and 10 eastern.

At social gatherings, Terry Schiavo began piling her food plate high, as if rebelling against having to deny herself to be desirable. She would then go in the bathroom and purge lest after become before. In between binges, she attempted her own miracle diet. Her medical records would note, "She apparently has been trying to keep her weight down with dieting by herself, drinking liquids most of the time during the day and drinking about 10-15 glasses of iced tea." Then, she would rebel and binge and purge herself again, so often that her stomach lining was damaged. The enamel on the back of her teeth was eroded by gastric acids. Her bulimia nervosa became so severe that the purging deprived her heart of potassium. An executioner's lethal injection does the opposite, flooding the body with potassium, but the effect is the same. A cellular reaction known as the sodium potassium pump is disrupted and the heart can no longer beat. The paramedics got Terri Schiavo's heart thumping again, but not before she suffered irreversible brain damage. The video of her in a persistent vegetative state can be seen as a kind of an after-after picture. Michael Schiavo prevailed in the courts to have the feeding tube removed from the young woman who destroyed her health trying to remain thin. Legions of folks who say they hold all life sacred clamored to have the tube reinserted. The U.S. Congress and even the President became involved. But almost nobody was voicing outrage over the social pressures that landed Schiavo in a persistent vegetative state in 1990. Tens of thousands of other young women are presently bulimic and more than Terri Schiavo will perish. Meanwhile, we have those happy after, if not necessarily happily ever after, pictures of Anna Nicole Smith in the subway. She was saying just the other day, "I wasn't unhappy at all until just everybody started ridiculing me so bad. I just got to the point that it was just like, 'My God, you know. Just shut up, everybody. What is the big deal.' And then I just looked in the mirror. I'm like, 'I'm fat.'"

Amen.
Hopefully she will now find the peace, that she couldn't in this life.
I don't know what you are implying. Anyway, it gets too much off the topic.
The local FOX station in Hollywood FL is reporting that Stern was "on the property at the time of her death but not in her room".
Thank you for your kind words - I think we could use a little more of that around here tonight. This woman was tortured by demons most of us will thankfully never have to endure. The sick cult of Celebrity has claimed another victim. Of course she craved the limelight - they all do. And for all the applause and attention, and wealth and fame: it is never enough. As always, the vultures will circle and pick clean the bones that remain after then spirit has long since fled, but... somewhere out this evening there is a little girl who will never really have known her mother. RIP, Anna Nicole.
Darn, same time as Greta and tonight Divine Design is on HGTV.

the baby is in the bahamas I heard on the news.
ME was interviewed by local news, (Dr. Juste is his name) and he said the autopsy will be done about 9:30 tomorrow morning.

Never mind- Cyril Wecht has already vouched for Stern's character on Giggy's show @ 5 (eastern)...
And if ya can't trust Cyril Wecht...

"There must be some tacky folks in the forum today."
By the time I gave someone a piece of my mind for his comment, he was banned, so it wasn't even read!
>>>No matter what anyone says about ANS...I think her Guess Ad photos were some of the most beautiful adverts ever done. The campaign spoke to women who were not a Size 0 that they can be sexy....and of course, fit into Guess Clothing LOL! >>>
Before all this marrying a billionaire business, I thought she was the most beautiful woman on earth. Even outshining Marilyn. I had no idea of her personality or lack of brains (I think she was smarter than some give credit) but I just know she was stunningly beautiful and not scrawny.
Yes!
... and if that happens. My God, if that happens...
Brace yourselves...
(*Inhaling*)
WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER HEAR THE END OF THIS.
The OJ Case, the McMartin Preschool case, the Manson Family prosecution, the Dreyfus Affair, the Menendez brothers, or any other high profile case you've ever heard of or witnessed... none of those will even be comparable to the Anna Nicole Smith murder. In fact, all of them together will amount to navel lint by comparison. The Robert Blake case compared to Anna Nicole Smith's murder would be like sizing up a baseball to the planet Jupiter.
The drama over the case and national interest will spawn spin-off after spin-off, launch stellar careers in TV and print journalism, possibly construct an entirely new thought process and language amongst the American people, introduce new words and phrases into the lexicon that would appear indecipherable to us today, and ultimately take American popular culture on a wildly tangential ride to places we cannot possibly dream of. ALL ANNA ALL THE TIME.
Those of you who treasure your sanity better hope that this doesn't turn out to be a murder mystery.
