Discussion:
Low pressure, centered over LA, will move toward the VACAPES during today and move offshore by tomorrow morning. Current thinking is this system will not become well organized until it is substantially offshore in NORLANT.
For the National Capital Region--global warming fallout beginning this morning remaining light until mid-afternoon. Heavier rates of fallout overnight until early morning when the precipitate should change to fz rain or all rain. Total fallout accumulations on the order of 1-3", with minimal icing at changeover. Currently, this rates 1 roll of TP, though later today we may need to go to a 2 TP warning. Much uncertainty remains with respect to the organization and timing of the coastal low. It has already started snowing several hours earlier than anticipated.
This is a moderate confidence forecast.

tR: Cash for Honors? A couple of things come to mind. First thought is it's about somebody who makes large contributions to an organization to gain favor with them and put themselves in favorable light to receive an AWARD for the organization.
Being a Dirty Ole Lady,,, you can guess what my second thought was.
Thanks for your suggestions ladies. The problem with the new systems is they don't automatically include the mail system, or something. I'm not sure how to express it, as I'm too ignorant of the whole thing, but somehow over the next months my husband will have to help me make the switch and retrain me.It won't be pretty.
The cash for honors refers to the list the Queen gets to bestow the knighthoods, Orders of the British Empire (OBE), and so forth. the lists come from the PM's office, & if the names offered are in exchange for money, well: Voila! Scandal! They should awarded for achievement.
It's ayearly thing, and believe me, it's already on shakey ground even without the money thing...

Seriously though, it really pi**es me off to know that someone like bella-botox, who has nothing but disdain for the military, from a city that loathes the military, can suddenly find use for the military when it benefits her and her group of cronies and family.
I guess in her bizzaro-botox world, anything that is good for nannie-poo is good and righteous and must be done, and anything that is good for the country and/or the military is to be denigrated as loudly and publicly as possible.
In case you were wondering, I really dislike this creature in the extreme.
