I am:Isaac Asimov One of the most prolific writers in history, on any imaginable subject. Cared little for art but created lasting and memorable tales. |
Once upon a time, Asimov's "Nightfall" was indeed voted the greatest-ever sci-fi story. See
my links page for a link to an online version. :')

I'd prefer to be:James P. Hogan Much of his fiction explores the themes of technology gone wrong, or new and unexpected uses for existing technology. |
Which science fiction writer are you?

I am also:Hal Clement (Harry C. Stubbs) A quiet and underrated master of "hard science" fiction who, among other things, foresaw integrated circuits back in the 1940s. |
Which science fiction writer are you?
This is a bit of a surprise. While I've read at least half a dozen of Hal Clement's works, I prefer Poul Anderson and Jack Vance. Anderson because of his future history with Nicholas Van Rijn and Dominic Flandry, and Vance because his human characters act stranger than most of the alien characters of other authors.
