The premise is that you are new kid at a private school called Bullworth Academy. You have to deal with all sorts of cliques that one would normally find in school; prep, jocks, greasers, nerds, bullies, etc. No blood or swearing, but there is fighting and a long, long, list of other juvenile delinquent activities.

Thanks Monica~ I try to remember it always, but sometimes dont

I think I offended another woman again, in trying to be kind!!
FIRST though: I should tell you that this is NOT the same woman I was talking about last week. things seem to be going good there--I gave her my email this weekend, and we have exchanged couple of messages that way.
However, there was ANOTHER woman on yahoo that I contacted, trying to cheer her up a bit and offer her hope. However--I think I may have accomplished the opposite!!
She was stating that she was unable to find any man who did not expect sex on the first or first few dates, and was begging for someone to respond that wanted a true friendship and relationship, NOT based on a quick fling.
So, I let her know that she was NOT alone in that regard. I told her that I had faced the SAME problem for a long time. I told her that I, like her was seeking a true, christian-based friendship,(she claimed to be one too) that might lead to more, but NOT just a "hit and run"'
I also complimented her for taking the stand she did, told her she was intelligent and attractive(she was not bad looking), and that she should NOT just "settle for some jerk, neanderthal type", that was easy to find, and that true, decent man are out there, men who want a REAL relationship, but there are rare nowdays. I concluded by telling her not to give up, and that if she ever felt the need to talk, to email me anytime(on the site, NOT personally!!)
The result was that, after more than three days before she came and checked her profile, she read my post and THEN deleted her profile TOTALLY, WITHOUT contacting me at all!!
So.....it looks like I "Did it again".
But PLEASE tell me:: just WHAT, in the message I sent, does ANYONE see, that was offensive?? I did NOT "come on ti her" or ANYTHING else. I was just trying to let her know that she was snot alone, and give her a bit of hope.

Sounds pretty mellow compared to what I imagined, which was a combo of (what I've read about) Grand Theft Auto, plus some of the "mean-muggin" gangsta-styled functionally illiterate kids I run into from the nearby high school... wearing the saggy pants and jackets with hoods even when it's hot.

I wouldn't take it personally. Based on what you describe, there was nothing remotely offensive about what you told this woman, in fact, it sounded encouraging. Maybe she's in a pattern of mentally knowing what she should want (= healthy relationship) but emotionally expecting the type of players she mentally knows she should avoid. Or maybe she accidentally hit the delete key. Or maybe she was just wanting you to join the "why me" pity party and do a little male-bashing, "I'm-a-victim" along with her. Or maybe she met Mr. Fabulous and suddenly had to take herself off the listing. ??? There's a million possibilities but in this case, her reaction doesn't really match her claims or your response. Some women get really trippy and their actions don't match up with their words (not that this is a newsflash).

... or maybe she's a "Date #10" type of girl and thinks you're an old-fashioned prude, wanting friendship first!

Didn't you say that you are on Yahoo? If so, the most likely explanation is that Yahoo made a mistake and screwed up her account. I had my e-mail, a personal profile, and a 100,000+ word website on Yahoo. Somehow, they decided that I had violated terms of service and froze me out of my account. They completely deleted my website. They denied me access to my e-mail. They left my profile up for a while, and I don't know whether they ever deleted it. I wanted to sue them for leaving my profile while refusing to let me access the responses. Maybe they finally decided that when they screw someone up, they remove the profile to keep from being sued.
If I were you, I'd assume that this problem is a problem with the site. If I'm right about you being on Yahoo, I think that Yahoo problems are a particularly good assumption. This lady probably would have been encouraged if she'd read your letter, but Yahoo probably didn't let her read it.

I don't think it had anything to do with you. There are 1 billion reasons why she could have deleted her profile. Sounds like she is giving up...or maybe leaving Yahoo and tying a new service. Who knows. Maybe Yahoo deleted her. That does happen.
Rest assured Jack, it was not you.

My guess is that is was NOT you but probably a lot of other guys gave her a hard time & she pulled the plug.
Never worry if you have done the right thing in your conscience. If others don't like it, so be it.
Be true to yourself.
You are a good man & will find a good woman worthy of you & you will both find joy & fulfillment.. I KNOW IT~

I am curious::
How many here think the new Ditech commercial is funny??
Some here probably think it is funny.
I think it is VERY SICK!!
Something with the sexes REVERSED in the commercial would NEVER fly, and if it was shown--the cries would come down from Bella Pelosi, down to Rosie O Donnell for the station to be taken off the air!!
But since it is a white man in the commercial that is assaulted...oh well. Right?
"Wrong is right"!!
