Periodontal Disease also increases the risk of heart attacks. I've read that certain kinds of dental disease can cause heart disease.As if halitosis wasn't enough of a reason to take care of your teeth.

Interesting. My father had terrible trouble with his gums and eventually died of pancreatic cancer. The idea that the two troubles may have a connection is fascinating.
