My fairly new next door neighbor has three young daughters who were terrified to go out into their yard to play. The dog was just too big and menacing.
The neighbor fixed the problem by erecting an eight foot wooden privacy fence. The girls now enjoy their yard . . . fearlessly.
Good for them!
I've heard more than one anecdote on these threads about owners
who ignore similar problems when brought to their attention.
People have property rights,
but they must be responsible and ensure the enjoyment of their property
does not jeopardize the safety of others.
