" He was found innocent. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time"

He was with OJ at the time?

P.S.

He was found "not guilty"....he was NOT found innocent.

I've hated the city of New Orleans since Katrina when the welfare mentality of the entire town was brought to my attention, and as an Eagles fan, I hate it more now.

Some people just like to hate.

Now their empty headed fans in the inner part of N.O. can kill people and destroy things while celebrating.

The fans are rebuilding New Orleans, not the thugs.

and the animals that call it home. If I could create a Hurricane magnet I would drop it right on their Damn FEMA trailers.

There are very heard working good people who call this city home and they don't deserve the hate I see on this thread. How horrid for you to be so sick as to wish ill on those who have suffered and still suffer because you have fallen prey to media lies. Yes there are awful folks in New Orleans but they are the minority unfortunately they get the media coverage not the thousands upon thousands who work to rebuild the city without government help I might add.

After being slammed by Rita in SE Texas, I can say you are a heartless B____d. Wishing a hurricane on anyone is despicable. I hope the mod's ban you for good.

You should really save your vitriol for the liberal "do-gooder" politicians who created the welfare state in New Orleans and have perpetuated cradle-to-grave dependence for decades, in the name of power and corruption.

There are plenty of hard working Christian people in Louisiana. I'm one of them.

Go Saints!

LOL....you tell 'em Sister!! Frankly, these "hate N.O." posts are making the victory even sweeter!

You can have your opinion sir. The fact is that the citizens of NO (the majority) turned a blind eye for decades to their crumbling infrastructure because they would rather party and elect the most crooked vapid politicos possible. Then, when they get caught(after 4 days of warning) they scream about the government(read republicans and conservatives)leaving them to their fate. Quite frankly we should give the city back to the French as it more closely resembles a post colonial African piss-hole of economic despair than any American city and that was before Katrina.

HYPERBOLE! Perhaps you have heard of it? Oh I don't remember anyone is SE Texas screaming it was all Bush's fault! They probably went to work and started to rebuild their lives. Did the Mayor's in SE Texas go on like Nagin? No. They asked for help and continued to sally forth. I'll help anyone that asks but NO has simply pushed the lines of American sympathy too far. Oh it seems the good folk in Houston would like to see the expatriates return as well, why is that?

This is a freaking football game thread. It has nothing to do with the storm. It would be nice if there could be ONE thread on this site related to Louisiana that didn't bring up this crap. Is it too difficult to stay on topic??????

This type of post is the reason why I have quit posting here. Any of you guys on the ping list want to take over please freepmail me because I've had it.

Oh and ,

why did reid punt on 4th and 14 when in playoffs against the packers we were 4th and 24 and we go for it

I guess it's heads of one tails of another. I forget the exact circumstances of the Packers game, but with the Saints they had two time outs and enough time on the clock so that if they held them on downs (which they should have done since no way was N.O. going to pass) they would have got a punt return plus at least one other play.

I can't fault Reid.

The interesting thing is that any city hit as hard as New Orleans would have the same problems the same corruption, I know Detroit would. So would Chicago, Los Angeles you name it but, because New Orleans has a reputation as a party city these idiots believe the nonsense they read and hear in the MSM. The vast majority of New Orleans residents did not blame the Republicans though it is easy to understand how it might be seen that way if you believe the MSM. Last I heard they were blaming their own politicians. The majority of the residents got out before the storm hit. The poor, the uninformed, the old, those who could not get a ride were left. And so were some foolish people who just did not believe N.O. would be hit by the hurricane, not unusual considering the last hit was in 1965.

The hard working folks who want to rebuild their city are back and they are the ones who must deal with the thugs who shoot and kill, not those who love to hate and inhabit this thread. My husband was born and raised in this wonderful city and he was so happy last night that his Saints finally won a play-off game. I hope they win the superbowl and give those hard working loyal and good New Orleanians a great experience. God bless all who have been hurt by Katrina.

Katrina exposed the weakness in all of our major cities. I also know that too many people only think that New Orleans is the sin city and yes there is that aspect but the truth is most of the people letting go of all their inhibitions are tourists.

I know all about the decent, honest and hard working people of New Orleans. I've lived there. I live in the Lake Charles area and we went through Rita. It's a shame that none of the success stories ever make it to the news. People here haven't blamed Republicans or the POTUS. We may complain about FEMA but that's more about the red tape and stupid stuff typical of bureaucracy. The hard working people have simply been too busy recovering from the two storms.

Oh well, it isn't going to take away from this historical event in Louisiana history. ;) The Saints are one game away from the Superbowl. I hope the levees are set because they may fail again when the ground starts shaking from the celebrating. J/K
