Neat garden pictures, I like all your mixed collection of pots. It’s very casual and homey :~D

The plant with the red leaves, they sell as a houseplant up here. :~)

The plants with the red leaves are Caladiums. The white striped ones are too, just a different variety. I’ve never seen them sold as house plants before, but have often thought they’d be pretty in the house. They like the shade, but they do look better if they get a fair amount of early morning or late afternoon sun. Otherwise the color is not as good. They’re more green, I guess to generate more energy with the low light that they have. They aren’t winter hardy when planted in the ground here, so I keep them in pots and put them in the in-law’s basement in late Fall when they start to play out and get them back out sometime in late March when they start to sprout again.

I have some caladiums planted in my front garden, and they are really pretty. I’ll get some pictures later today, I’m at Jenny’s this morning. The ones I have are white, and have planted them in front of the big brown rocks out there. They really stand out.
