Morning. Yeah, I guess you are right about the horses. Getting friendly with man would be to their demise and I know I can't be responsible for every animal in the world but....I'm a fixer and not a very good naturalist. It just bothered me about the mare. I was thinking, well lets at least plant some alfalfa in the hills and air water it or something. My husband hates to watch national geographic stuff with me. I get too upset. "That lost baby cub is dying. Take it where the momma can find him" "Can't they just shoot that stuck buffalo? Those $%^& hyenas are eating him alive." "But they are starving"

Heh... I'm with you on those shows... some of them are hard to watch... I never know who to root for when there's a lion and a baby gazelle. Or the zebra and the crocodile...

Too much drama in nature!

I liked Steve Irwin for that though, he probably wouldn't interrupt a hunt, but he'd save something that was trapped or injured if he found it in time.

I don't watch much TV but I absolutely refuse to watch the animal shows unless it's racing or rodeo. I realize that nature is hard but I can not watch lions and aligators taking down antelope and zebra.
