Hair:) great pictures...but I have to say it:), I cringe seeing a horse free lunging:).Probably in a horse as seasoned as Bay, it wouldn't be a problem...but I still have to say it:)

Tuffy, I use Purina Horse Chow 100. I kept a very old horse is very good condition on it years ago. He couldn't eat hay either. I do feed 3 X's a day just to keep them eating as often as possible, but you can get by with 2X's a day, if you can't manage 3. I actually like the Horse Chow better then Equine Senior. HC has no molasses in it or what ever it is in the ES that makes it sticky. IMO, they don't need all that sweetness. It is no better for them then it is for us. And every horse I've ever had likes it just fine. There have been times when I've given them a sweet feed for some reason or other, and they will eat the HC first and just pick at the SF.
