This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

My big dog thinks they're chew toys. They stay out of our yard now.
About 500 dollars in state fees, business cards, fliers etc, to change:')
It's really an easy fix, you just black out the mistake with sealcoat, and repaint.

I know some about faxes... I have a dedicated fax here. Whassup?
I bought a fax. I can send out but not receive with the AM on. It works when I turn it off. I set the ringer numbers. ATT says I can get a second line with double rings but I don't know if I need to do that. I called GE and the girl told me, well if it doesn't work on, just turn it off. Real high tech thinker there.
Ahh.... I don't know how to get just one line to work for both fax and voice. I have a dedicated fax number.
Yeah. 6.50 a month and I have to change stuff. It may be my only option. I'm not around to set it manually all the time. ATT said you can do it with one line but they can't tell me how to fix another companies machine.
How did the eye drops go with your cat today?
I knew you had some concerns about having to do that before you went to the vet, right?

It was a bit of a struggle this morning... hoping to get a little better at it over time, and hoping he learns it's not all bad. We dumped a lot of it down his face this morning.

Well, we squirted more in the eye and less down his face tonight... But I don't think we've quite got it yet ;~)
I bought them both at Walmart. We are talking about taking them both back and getting one with a built in phone. My husband says he needs to think about it a minute.

I guess Saturday we are going to a dog trail of some sort, not sure exactly what it is. Anyway, will take pictures.

Beautiful. I bought her a bag full of stuff from the dollar store. She's having a ball. Just come in with some curlers in her hair, 3 head bands on, 2 necklaces and who knows what else. It was a well spent 25 dollars:')

That is was. My grandson loves the dollar store stuff I find for him.
I didn't know that, neat to know it has a name. I was just so struck with the beauty of it when I stopped to get the mail that I had to get a picture.
Later on tonight I'm going to try to post some pics from this computer. Here's hoping. Hey, I don't know the name but that Irish John Wayne movie is on
