Well at least you're progressing. You might try giving him some kind of treat once you get done with it. Something he'll look forward to. I do that when I have to trim TheBear's toenails. He really doesn't like having it done but he'll tolerate it to get his treat, which happens to be that goop in the tube that you give them to keep them from getting hairballs. Sometimes he'll only let me do 2 or 3 toenails at a time before he has to get down, but he still gets a little bit of a treat and we try for the others a little bit later. That's what works for me anyways.
