A little story on a marriage. When I was a young policeman we had a guy on the force that got married. We knew he was going to Memphis for his honeymoon so, we called some buddies in Clarksdale and put out a all points bulletin on a stolen car, his. He came thru and they arrested him and wife, put him in one cell, wife in the women's cell. This we let go on for about 4 hours and they all laughed and let them out, only the married couple did not laugh. As a few days went by for their honeymoon we had paid for their entire trip with a note in a envelope made my the clerk to them 'congratulations and by the way, can't you take a joke'?
