We just took down the mandatory 'hoops'.....
Our circle of homes will be happy they're safely stored till next year :^
Jellybean and family & son and hub and I walked the 'hoop' circle the other night :)
When we got to the 'hobbit hoop' we all did the limbo rock :))
Much silliness :)
Jellybean kept wandering off course to touch/see the candy canes and yard snowmen.

I keep my tree up until next week.
I so hate to take it down. I would keep it up all year if I could.

I saw the Rose Bowl parade flyover .... and the thought DID occur to me .. what if anything happens? Especially with that large a crowd. Alas, those guys sure DO know what they're doing.
It looked like they weren't much higher than your average Pasadena skyscraper ... i.e., 3-5 stories. Then the fighters do a 90 degree straight up. Just spectacular.

It sure did wow the crowd. They were all in shocked amazement when they went to the crowd shot.

The thought of "me" baking bread is laughable. Even to me.
Anyway. The tree is down and packed in it's storage bags. The mandle is 'dismantled' and those things are ready to carry to the basement. At this rate, I can be finished by Noon.
There is still the open stairway and the kitchen to tackle. And the few outdoor things.

Well it worked for the Little Red Hen...:)

President Bush has released his New Year's resolution.
"I, President George W. Bush, resolve to improve bipartisanship by asking Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi and Senator Ted Kennedy to this year's White House New Year's Eve party, if the distinguished senior senator from Massachusetts will provide Mrs. Pelosi with transportation."

Kay, I forgot to tell you in my previous post. The First lady and I humbly asked the Lord for your healing, and comfort to your sweet family.
We will continue our requests to the Lord.

Is it time for me to post my famous 48-hour diet? Misery loves company.
48 HOUR LIQUID DIET
1 1/2 CUP CARROT JUICE
1 BANANA
1/2 CUP GREEN TEA / STRONGLY BREWED
1 SCOOP SOY PROTEIN POWDER
Blend all the ingredients together. Serve over ice. Recipe yields 2 servings. Drink every 3 hours or less (up to 6 times per day). Try to use juices with no added sugar or corn syrups, this is the key to losing fast.
You are to eat NO SOLID FOODS, this is the key to losing weight. If you feel like you cannot make it, eat things that are mostly water, such as lettuce and celery or baby carrots.
Do this diet for 2 days ONLY. It is not meant to be continued after 2 days. It is meant to jump start your weight loss, or to get off those pesky 5-10 pounds quickly. It can however be repeated every 2 weeks, but I have found it works best for me if repeated every 4 weeks. As always, check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program or diet.
