Exactly!
That is so sweet; thank you!!
*waving*
Thank you again - you all are so sweet!!
Yes, very hard. I would not want to start all over again, trying to get citrus to grow here, but I was so grateful to inherit them when I bought the house. I wouldn't mind if the date palms died... not a fan of palm trees in my yard, but of course those things are atomic proof.
I think the hardest thing would be to pay to have the stumps removed. I'm glad all our junipers and cedars are hardy and not wilted.
I even had one lavender - I bought it at Target about 8 years ago when I bought the house. It was in a tiny gallon container. It burgeoned into a gigantic and gorgeous bush - several feet wide and high, and growing in the ground in the blazing sun! Doesn't even require much water. Well, sadly it didn't look too good today either! Son of a gun.
Oh nooooooo - ALL my favorite stores and scents!! SB, BBW... ah....
I worked at home today and Iceman brought my SB for me after work. And cooked dinner! Tomorrow is that dreaded time of year where the company tells us how much we suck in our yearly reviews. All so the execs can get bigger bonuses... My, I'm just in a peachy mood today.
I'm told that we're actually supposed to be getting a significant raise to be reflected on our next check. I'll believe it when I see it, but it would sure be nice.
Dude! Get a Mac!
Mine too.
Why does management regard 10¢ raise as 'significant'?
That was a great post Sundog --- I am sorry you had to go through all those gyrations to marvel at my work. You and all your kin will be rewarded in the last days. I hope you watched full screen.
I keep forgetting that I am dealing with a country whose benighted citizens have computers that were the envy of the Babylonians and upon which Herodotus wrote his Histories.
Just because the our thoroughly modern grannie has awoken, like Sleeping Beauty, and embraced the modern world, I forget that she is the exception in that savage land..
I have to go through these gyrations because none of you have had the wit to tief PowerPoint. And now I find you do not have the wit to tief FREE stuff. There is no hope for such people in this wicked world.
For those who have a problem viewing my post #810 and the marvels that are to follow, download Microsoft Photo Story 3 for Windows XP - it is free:

Don´t you even mention that scam Scientology to BO or Derly.
You know better.
BO? Who or what might that be, Cardy? :P
I'm gonna check out all your cool stuff in the mornin', I'm
ready to hit the sack. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
BTW, don't worry, Tundra Boy isn't clever enough to scam anybody. We just like to let him believe he has, just for our own amusement. ;)
Sorry, I meant BQ
I expect for the same reason that a retailer can say with a straight face that a purse is "only" $550.
BQ - I have lavender bushes and they survive anything. Mine grow like weeds if that's any comfort.
You know better.
Ya know? I don't tell you who you can post to and what you can say to them.
If you look back you will find I was notably silent when you were being ostracized for a Fred link. I didn't particularly like that Fred column, but I respect your right and freedom to post it.
As far as Scientology, my former association with that, ummmm, organization is no secret. Indeed, I would like to invite anyone who cares to know more (such as Derr or BQ, for example) to check out my thread on the topic:
Tundra Boy?
Appropriately edited for cousinlanders.
*Incredulous look*
Do snakes shatter at that temperature?
Sorry, I meant BQ
:-)
