You might have had the wrong acrylics. They're sold in different thicknesses (bodies).
Note to everyone: Grannie's tubes may be old but they're like new on the inside!

Rolling pins are for hitting people, not making pies! ;)

Amazing! I have not been there in at least 30 years!
Were you up there when Benson's Wild Animal Farm was open in NH?
Campgrounds . . . as in tent, trailers and RV camping?

I'd love to have my own horse again. Last one I had I had to give up when Dawn was little. We did board a couple of horses on our property a few years later. We were really the only ones that rode them. The owner took them out about once a year to do sleigh rides at Christmas time. One of them was a great riding horse. The other one was kinda dumb.

Sure I remember Benson's. Went there many times as a kid and with mine. That was in Hudson NH tho, by Nashua. Quite a bit south from Santa's Village.
Community Campgrounds doesn't have an RV Park. It's actually in Littleton, and Santa's is in Jefferson.
We did stay at a nice campground when we were RV-ing tho in Littleton, at the Lantern Inn. The kids loved it there and when we over-night for the Reunion we always stay there in the Hotel or Motel part. The kids love the pool and the view is great.
It's a beautiful area up there, with nice views of the Washington Range.
Well gurls..I have to clean up around here and settle down and watch a little Telly. See you all in the morning, God willin. ;)

It's probably been about 6 years since I've eaten a donut. And I never ever buy sweets to keep in the house. Haven't for years. Because if they're there, I WILL eat them....constantly. I will occasionally make cookies or a pineapple upside down cake, but always to take somewhere else or give away. I used to do a lot more baking, but it seems rather pointless, not to mention unnecessary torture, at this point. I work too hard at getting and staying in shape and everything I look at turns to fat. I have to limit myself to occasional dinners out (buffets are a killer...especially the ones with a dozen scrumptious desserts) and occasional treats on other outings. I really have to be careful with the sweets that other people bring to the office. The best way to resist those temptations is to watch who's eating them. Most of them are considerable "bigger" than I am.

"and most of the paints are so non-toxic they're edible. " Do you make a habit of eating your paint? I guess I never realized that this was a big consideration.

My fondness, when I had the time to fool with it, was for pastels and charcoals. I still have a lot of my materials. Haven't taken them out in several years.

I knew it was further south but couldn't think of the town; it was a long time ago.
Pleasant dreams.
