Howdy-Doody you guys. Thanks for the compliments on my pics. I am trying to get better, but this proggie is giving me severe heartburn at times, and I know it's not being a good sport at all with my computer.
If they don't come out with the completed version soon, (supposedly the end of this month) I just may have to dump it, and that upsets me because I need something to keep my hands and mind busy.

Al just went to pick up the kids at the airport, so my time will be limited to when I can post, so figured I'd answer you nice folks now while I have the chance.
The sun's shining, the pool is 86 degrees, the frig, pantry, and bar are filled and the house is ready for company. Now I can just sit back and join the havoc that will soon begin. Pray for me......:)

Hi everyone :) I'm hoping that soon, real soon, I have some time to catch up on whats been going on with all of you, I'll never find enough time to go back and read all the thread since I was last here. I've been gone a lot, some for business, some just blissin' out. :) Sadly, though, one trip was for the funeral of a dear, lifelong friend who kept her brief illness a secret from almost everyone except her immediate family members. Her passing was, indeed, a shock, she was always such fun, so full of life, high spirited. A total joy to know.

Its practically Spring here. We've had wunnerful weather all week long. High 70s, sunny and bright.

Our 'scaping is done. Al has done a wonderful yob of it. I will have to take pics of it. Of course some of the plants we put in are still small...but by next year they will either be dead or huge. :)
It's spring here too I believe. I was just saying that I heard the first Mockingbird a week ago or so. The other birds are nesting.
It's low 80's here today and the pool is 86. So if we can keep the rain away it will be nice for the kids that are arriving in a couple hours for ten days.

I just got caught up in my home improvement plans/projects. Now that the warm weather is here, I'm anxious to get started.
I'm starting with a new kitchen floor, then the bath and some landscaping. That should keep me busy for awhile! Have you been ruling with an iron fist Gran, keeping everyone under control in here? I don't know if I should go back and try to catch up or just hop on board and see where it goes.
