I'm going to have a V-8!
Reminds me...gotta go... work on my karma.
Apart from flying that helicopter from the hotel pad. ;)
No LJ, I never went to the Persian Gulf although I spent two and a half years in the East Indies as we used to called all lands surrounding the Indian Ocean. Our overseas postings used to be two and a half years at a time in those days.
My first overseas stint was from 1947 to 1950 - ranging from Saudi Arabia down to South Africa all the Indian Ocean to Malaya. I was based in Trincomalee, Ceylon or as it is called, Sri Lanka.
In my time things were in their more primitive stage of development, nothing like they are today. Your friend will tell you that Dubai is great for shopping. I think is a free port.
Plumb skulls?
They hang out at the corner bistros in NYC..
Worst of the 20th?
Can we do a twofer?
Carter and Clinton both were pretty bad.
As for 19th century, wasn't Andrew Jackson considered pretty bad?
Would that be your Karma Chameleon?
Did you ever return to any of those places to see how they had changed?
Did you retire to Spain?
I used to dream about some of the places you've been. When they all started changing their names they got my attention again.
BWWWWWWWWWAHAHAHHAHHA
I enjoy seeing them flopping around helplessly... especially the ones who caused global warming.
Lol
The former :)
Ugh. Don't ask.
Hi!

Global frickin warming!
Such an all encompassing theory.....
*majorest eyeroll ever in the universe*
Those liberals always have to invent some crisis of the day. Wasn't it the coming ice age and the hole in the ozone before?
"Ava Had Such Fun Hitting Reindeer"
I'm calling PETA for sure.
I do declare, Cardy. You could be my daddy! I guess I figured you for a tad younger. Could be cuz my daddy isn't much good with the computer, so I always think of men in his age bracket as being computer challenged. He was in the navy and was overseas around that time (a wee bit later). He was in France when I was born.
