So how was the Christmas??? Mine was just ok......
Dec 24: Both toilets backed up until it was backflowing into the tubs, Couldn't get a plumber, so off to Lowes to buy a snake, 45 mins of snaking the main line found an unremovable blockage, decided to eat dinner and my front crown fell out...Thank God for Walgreens on the corner...
Dec 25: Called my Mom and found out that the dog that they had for the last 18 years suffered a stroke and had to be put down. Returned my kid back to her mother's house....All of the ex-inlaws were there, AND my ex forced me into giving her a hug (ewwwwwww, very weirdly EWWWWWWWW).
Dec 26: Finally got a plumber to make a service call...$344 later he pulls out feminine hygine products......
What did I do last year to deserve this????

so the plumber got one of these out of the line?
ROTFLMAO
Guess you had to "Pull some strings" to get a plumber out to the house the day after Christmas....
8^)
Sounds like you and I were both bad this year...
2:30 Christmas day... grandfather starts having chest pains...
4:30 Decides that the pain is not just indigestion and goes to the hospital...
10:30 Doctors determine that it was, in fact, a heart attack...
9:00 am Dec 26... My father, who was at the hospital til 1:00 am, decides that it's finally time to let ME know that my grandfather has had a heart attack...
9:01 Rush to the hospital...
1:30 pm Dec 28... Grandfather released after the doctors determine that it was a blood clot that caused the attack and that there isn't much they can do other than change his medication... No sense in operating on a 90 year old...
My buddy's a plumber and he likes to tell the story about the nightshift at a Palm Springs hotel when he was the "on call" guy.
It was Christmas Eve and the staff got loose - the night manager puked her false teefs into the toilet and couldn't reach them by hand, hence the call to the plumber.
He unseated the toilet, removed her chompers and she paid him cash to expunge the service call.
