Maybe the weather prognosticators are used to spouting oratoratorical sonorosities which are too plienastic to be expediously assimilated?
Fire them. With real fire.
I've got in-laws at the house who needed to see San Francisco, so I took them around the city, yesterday; I figured it was a good excuse for me to experiment with the digital camera (Nikon CoolPix 5600). I was especially interested in seeing what the camera could do in low light if I tweaked with the Exposure Compensation.
Here's a trio of my best shots (I think). These were all taken after 7:00pm (sunset was at 5:00pm) WITHOUT the aid of a tripod. For those who don't recognize it, the building is The Legion of Honor Museum. The shot of the Golden Gate has no exposure compensation. The lighter of the two LoHM shots has exposure compensation of +2.0, and the darker has +0.3 compensation.
