[Harmless Teddy Bear]

It is a Polish sweet traditionally eaten in the days before the start of Lent, sort of like a jelly donut but yummier. Somehow the idea of it sitting next to the organic yogurt bars just doesn't feel right.

(The car cover I bought two weeks ago as a theft deterrent was stolen last night...now I'm afraid to even park in front of my apartment...)

Dang! I will be praying for you to get out of there. It does not sound at all safe. What did the police say?

I didn't call the police. They came out once before (two weeks ago) and thought it was a big joke that an old lady called them for a break-in on a 23 year-old truck.

But I have a year and a day to file a police report, so when I go to get one, I'll just pick up a handful. Looks like I'll need them...

My daughter bought me an "Autolock" which goes on the brake or clutch pedal, and it has a $5000 guarantee, but still, I parked my car at a friend's house for tonight. My son-in-law is going to find me a car alarm, but his schedule is so packed that I need to find if someone else can install it for not a lot of money.

As for the move...it's anybody's guess. I'm hoping February 2nd will see me and my little truck with a load of stuff on it headed southeast...
