I dabbled in Autocad for a couple of semesters, to see what it was about. Good stuff, but not as applicable to machining.

I think I would do almost anything to find an auto cad program, just to play around with.

I took drafting in high school, but didn't enter the work force until my kids had left home. I'd just like to play with something like that, and find out how much I know, and how much I'm capable of.

(FYI, when I was in high school, I was the only female in the drafting class. I was an A student.)

You would absolutely love Autocad--with it, you truly are only limited by your imagination. The Revolution of Cad over the last decade is one of the great untold stories.

It's a lot of fun--better than video games to me.

Is there a community college within range of where you live? Honestly, that's the best way to learn it, and they sell a very cheap student version (you may be able to get it online). It has great help files and and awsome tutorial bank, but nothing will beat time in a seat in a classroom w/computer lab.

...So I don't know why I'm hungry right now.

It's your blood sugar level. I find that if I don't eat breakfast, I can pretty much regulate my food intake all day.

However, if I eat something with more carbs than protein, I can figure that I'll be trying to regulate my blood sugar all day, and will have to eat a lot more than if I had gone without breakfast.
