How did they lose to the 'Canes in the Orange Bowl? Lots of very inopportune turnovers that put them in a hole from which they couldn't quite climb out of in time. Of course it was also a very hostile environment, unbefitting of a game deciding the national championship. But by the 4th quarter, the Huskers were totally dominating Miami just as they had dominated everyone on their schedule that year.

I remember that game very well. Every Nebraska fan I knew kept saying that they were the best college team **ever** in college football. The inopportune turnovers were part of the game. And, if you don't like hostile environments, should teams not have to play in Lincoln?

I keep hearing Kneebraska fans complaining about that game and I still chuckle. Nebraska needs a pro team.

I loved that game. The corn-dogs were beaten well, and deserved that loss. It's called humiliation; your religious background should give you the understanding for such a loss.
