OH, they do.
Remember watching gameday, when we played UM, and Corso made his prediction by hold up a Wolverine helmet and saying, "THIS ONE'S FOR YOU, BO!"
I hated that the man passed, but thought it totally inappropriate of him to do that.
Why do they hate us so? I think it's because we're a midwest team who plays by the rules, and has a coach with integrity. I stand by my previous statement that had Mo Clarrett played for virtually and other school, they would have looked the other way at his antics.
I know Corso doesn't hate Ohio State like the rest of them. He does that entire pick schtick for show.
I don't know if they would've looked the other way on Clarett. He brought quite a bit of it on himself by TALKING to the press.
I think the thing is that ESPN doesn't like that Tressel won't give them big quotes like Spurrier or Bowden or even guys like Glen Mason or John L Smith would.
That's also why ESPN hates teams like Texas and Oklahoma and Georgia, schools with coaches who don't talk smack to the other teams.
I'm personally glad ABC lost out on the BCS games minus the Rose Bowl. They had too much power on the process when they held the TV contract for all 4 of the games.
