Yep but both the Big 10 and SEC had 3 Top 10 teams each when the regular season ended.

I must say that Arkanas and UT were VERY disappointing today. I do think Fulmer and UT are overrated and got what they deserved.

That being said, do you think the Pac 10/Big 12/ACC replace either the SEC or the Big 10 from the top 2 conferences this season?

"Would Michigan have been spotted 7 1/2 points up front???"

Nope. But according to Craig James, the SEC is still the best conference with the toughest schedule, no matter how many games the SEC will end up losing to Big 10 teams.

Good wins by Wisconsin, PSU, and WV.

Wisconsin has become a very good and consistent program. They beat us last year and beat the SEC runners up this year.

I heard that. It's good to see idiots like James outed. You'd think he'd be smart enough to avoid making claims so counter to the facts that his bias is exposed, but obviously that's not the case.

Next year the Big 12 will be much much better. It will be much like 2005 when the Big 12 was the top conference.

Well, the Big 10 has its own cheering squad in the horribly-biased ESPN Gameday crew.

Ohhhhh yeeeaaaahhh!

It just doesn't get better than Michigan vs. USC in the Rose Bowl, with both great fight songs playing, all of the traditions, and the Wolverines in the blue uniforms. All is right with the world!

I think Fowler is a Big Ten guy, but IMO Herbstreit goes out of his way to be impartial.

And all that said, I'd hope if PSU and Wisconsin lost to SEC teams that the Gameday crew wouldn't be foolish enough to claim that the Big Ten is still the superior conference.

Do you have any specific teams in mind? I can think of Oklahoma and Nebraska. Texas is still rebuilding, I think.

Do you see any other Big 12 teams making a mark next year? Teams like TTU and TAMU show promise at times but are quite inconsistent.

Maybe. But no one is more biased than CBS (surprise surprise) Gary "the SEC is so great" Danielson who was openly campaigning for UF in his December SEC title game broadcast.

Colorado whould improve vastly over this year, 7 teams started underclassmen at QB, Texas, Missouri, KSU and TTech to name a couple. Next year Nebraska will be playing with its first class completely recruited by Callahan, as well as a proven NFL caliber QB, as well as a much improved and experienced secondary. Of course I cant guarantee anything but the conference should be more improved.

Fowler is simply an anti-Nebraska guy, he actually went to Colorado.

My Pac 10 was weak this year......USC, Cal and Oregon St which won all their games after starting 2-3 were the only teams worth a damn........next year should be a better year for the Pac......Hopefully Cal can play to their potential.

Spoken like a truly bitter SEC fan....

Fowler went to Colorado, Corso is an ACC guy and true Herbie went to Ohio State, but he's probably the most impartial one of teh bunch.
