SEC has been having a great bowl season so far. When the season is completed, I doubt if there'll be any quesitons over which conference was the best this year.
And Auburn will win. Score one for the SEC this time against the Big 12.
If I were Nebraska I would have tried a pooch kick and try to pin Auburn, since Nebraska still had a few time outs left.
Impressive win for you guys, Lion. A nice coaching job done with the quarterback over the past month, he looked like a different guy, passed with much more purpose. Great job.
Pat Summerall probably called Ford's game in the Pee Wee league
Especially if the Big Ten's top four teams all win their bowl games...
Ooops. Looks like we spoke too soon.
The NE offense has been stifled in the second half. They were, by far, a different (and better) team in the first half.
Coach TT said that Auburn would play better in the second half. So far, they have done that.
War EAgle!
Thanks. They should have a very good team next year. Wisconsin is looking good as well, and I can hardly wait to see what happens in Pasadena today.
LOL.....I don't know whether you are being sarcastic or not.....
Nebraska should have had someone back there for a return.
This Cotton Bowl reminds me in some ways of the Texas-Georgia Cotton Bowl from 1984 (I think.) Texas lost 10-9, even though Georgia never crossed midfield EXCEPT for 2 Texas turnovers deep in the red zone. If not for Texas gifting UGA, they would have won the nat'l championship. Coulda, woulda, shoulda, only themselves to blame. However in that game Texas dominated Georgia, while today Auburn wasn't at all dominated.
Absolutely. Man that stupid trick punt is killing me, thats the entire game IMO.
Callahan is an idiot.
Smart move on the punt by Auburn. Hail Mary in last 9 seconds didn't work out.
Auburn wins 17-14. Good game.
How is UT doing?
I thought so too.....but I won't second guess them trying to block the punt...I thought the ref should have called the ball dead when it stopped rolling though
Your prediction about NE's second half was dead on. It was like seeing a role reversal after the half.
All I know is that I was listening to the USC pre game radio show while out for my walk....and I would say most of the commentators say Michigan will win. They were saying USC wasnt focussed this week in practice, while Michigan looked extremely determined.
Nebraska shouldnt have tried that trick punt earlier in the game, thats the game there.
