LOL! Just kidding, it will make it easier...
Getting settled in for the Orange Bowl. Go Deacons!
You actually arent that far off, BYU, Marshall, Utah, Tulane didnt magically start having better recruiting classes after there undefeated seasons. K-State playing in a major conference winning a couple of conference titles rarely had classes worth noting, sure all of them found the lone exceptional player but oft times the player would be overlooked by all of the major teams and have a low player ranking. It also shows that star rankings are only as good as the head coach.
The Orange Bowl will be on Fox here in a few moments....
Can it live ot last night?
No way...
RIGHT?
According to Highsmith, it started with a few of the seniors, like him and like Brown, the incorrigible All-America defensive tackle. And then it spread, and it became the latest outlandish brainstorm of a team that felt like it could do absolutely no wrong, even as the improprieties and transgressions mounted and the self-righteous criticism came hard and fast. They were thugs. They were outlaws. They were the Oakland Raiders of college football. So now it was Miami's turn. Jerome Brown stood up and unzipped his sweat suit to reveal his fatigues. "Did the Japanese sit down and eat with Pearl Harbor before they bombed them?" he said. "No. We're outta here."
and then delivered a quote that Penn State football fans still evoke, 14 years after Bruno's death from melanoma: "Excuse me," he said. "But didn't the Japanese lose the war?"
In one last burst of confusion, he threw left, toward the end zone, toward several Penn State players, and Giftopoulos, the soft-spoken linebacker from Ontario, Canada, intercepted his pass -- Testaverde's fifth interception of the game, and Miami's seventh turnover
Let's try to ping the RIGHT list this time Mike....
The Orange Bowl is on....
They wish!
No the greatest bowl game was the 1983 Orange Bowl, greatest game was 1971 OU-NU, not called the game of the century for nothing. That game you listed barely cracks the top ten in many lists of greatest games.
They'll be a battle on the field tonight, but it should also be a fun name-calling battle here.
10 points is a pretty big spread. I expect that Louisville is going to show some big offense tonight.
No game will compare to last night! I just hope its close, not like Michigan debacle, which I blame on Lloyd Carr looking John Kerry..
Hey guys,
If you get some FReepmails about me pinging them to a college football list, it's on me.
I screwed up and pinged the wrong list.
I apologize everyone.
LOL
Maybe...
We get to see if the ACC is better than the Big East tonight.....
yeah that is a bit big, especially in a BCS game....
I think it can.
Let's see what Brohm can do. The 2006, 2007, and 2008 drafts had better solve the NFL's problem of crappy QB play.
1983 Orange Bowl? That wasn't even the best bowl games of that year. Reference the 1983 Sugar Bowl...
Or did you mean the 1984 Orange Bowl?
Cece Wynans sang the National Anthem! She has a wonderful smile and is a jubilant Christian! How nice!
Arnie Palmer!!!! is there!!!! Woohoo!!!
It might...
Certainly the 2007 draft will be RB heavy though....
Oh mercy - Muhammed Ali is there - from Louisville! Bless his heart. He is sooo feeble.
