Ian Johnson...what a class act.

I'm really happy for such a great kid.

....and Ian Johnson just proposed marriage to the cheerleader.......can I cry now???????

The only thing left to happen in this game is for Knute Rockne to rise from the dead to present the Boise coach with the Fiesta Bowl trophy.

Great game, and thanks to the otherwise moron Fox announcer who did make the one good point about this screaming for a playoff. (Of course it was odd to claim that BSU deserved a shot at OSU BEFORE they even tried the 2-point conversion!) The writers will write about it, but given how close the game was I don't think BSU will draw away many (or any) 1st place votes, they didn't prove that they were better than the OSU/FL winner. But they did demonstrate that they belonged in the top 10 and can play with the big boys.

That game proves the absolute necessity for great coaching ... and the connection between that Boise State coaching squad and that great bunch of football warriors is what teamwork is all about!

She took awhile. I didn't know if she was going to say yes. Ian is from Damian HS, which is only about 15 minutes away. Someone has to put this on a DVD. It is worth seeing again. Those kids had guts and heart. That coach has developed a helluva program.

The only other game that I think compares is the 1983 Orange Bowl between Miami and Nebraska, where nobody gave Miami a chance against Nebraska, and Nebraska went for two for the win and didn't make it.

No, the only thing left is for Obama to steal Hillary from Bill.

This is just a great victory, too bad they cant play OSU to finish this. If Florida beats OSU I think we finally have the argument for a playoff.

Did you watch the game? How many points did BSU's offense score in the 1st half, and how much in the 2nd half while they let an 18-point lead become a 7-point deficit? They went into Prevent Defense offense, and almost lost the game. Then when their backs were against the wall they turned the offense back up, and won. That was my point, as were many of the specifics that I cited which you cut out.
