On Monday night, the mother said she had her son arrested because she didn't know what else to do.
Arrest the mother for criminal stupidity.

'twould seem there's a bit more to the story
She said the boy likes attention and has a history of bad behavior. He has shoplifted from stores and stolen money from her, she said. The boy has also been inching toward expulsion from school, she added, and even punched a police officer last month. He was arrested for disorderly conduct in that incident.

I know what my mother would have done to me. She would given it to someone else, and I wouldn't have been able to sit down for a day or two.

The cops should've told that mother to check herself into the nearest nuthouse and then got the heck outta there.

"...the mother said she had her son arrested because she didn't know what else to do."
Ok, I was expecting something like: "I had him arrested to teach him a lesson, or something parental-like." But, "...she didn't know what else to do?????"
May the Gods be merciful on the lunatics that are raising our young.

Go ahead and laugh, but it starts with things like Christmas gifts but before you know it, it moves on to more hard core things like birthday, Fathers Day and anniversary gifts.

My mom had this all down.... No names on presents, numbers only... she held the key. Packages were wrapped with Sunday comic paper and again with an outer wrap. Anyone caught peeking at presents would get the wrath of dad. Worked pretty good...

Thank God the police were using their tax payer funded time on duty in an important swat operation like this, wouldn't want them wasting their time arresting drug dealers, rapists, illegal immigrants and other unimportant stuff !!!

Sounds like a mentally ill woman. How horrible to have such a mother.

For those pointing out her age of giving birth, I want to point out that many would be pointing out how girls in the same age range 13-15 would be doing the right thing not to have an abortion.
The self-righteous hypocrisy is thick in here today - especially when no one here knows what the circumstances of this pregnancy were.

The boy's great-grandmother had specifically told him not to open his Nintendo Game Boy Advance.
Well I guess that boy took the name of this product a little too literally.
