There isn't going to be a rematch.
No. 1 Ohio State will play No. 2 Florida, not Michigan, for the Bowl Championship Series national title on Jan. 8 in Glendale, Ariz.
According to a BCS source, Florida moved from fourth to second today ahead of No. 3 Michigan in the final BCS standings.
An official announcement will come this evening in a televised unveiling on Fox.
The news means that USC will play Michigan, not Louisiana State, in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
LSU had pre-sold more than 42,000 tickets in advance of making its first-ever Rose Bowl appearance, but UCLA's upset win over previously No. 2 USC on Saturday, coupled with Florida's win over Arkansas in the Southeastern Conference championship game, changed the final pairings.
The BCS bowl lineup is now expected to be:
Rose: USC vs. Michigan.
Sugar: Notre Dame vs. LSU.
Orange: Louisville vs. Wake Forest.
Fiesta: Oklahoma vs. Boise State.
Florida's jump over No. 3 Michigan, which was idle Saturday and has not played since a three-point loss to No. 1 Ohio State on Nov. 18, likely will cause more uproar in BCS circles.

Its great to support your team, even what you feel right. However its not okay to act like 18 year old drunk who just decided to bandwagon a team and thinks they know all.

I would love to see that...I have nothing against OU, but if there is a game that I don't have a rooting interest in...I usually root for the underdog.

Actually thats just in the Harris Poll, in the BCS they are 9th and Notre Dame is 11th.
That's fine by me, but they'd have a much better chance with notre lame.
1. Florida deserves the chance more than Michigan deserves the rematch.
2. Something has to be really f-ed up for Florida to leapfrog Michigan like this. If they really thought Michigan was worse than Florida, why didn't they fall behind them the week after losing to Ohio State? It's not like Florida did anything all that impressive since then.
3. I don't really want Ohio State to win because their fans have been so arrogant and snotty the past two years. I don't really want Florida to win because they just won the national title in basketball. I didn't want Michigan to win because you shouldn't be playing for the national title if you can't win your own conference. But somebody's got to fill those two slots and Ohio St. and Florida are the best qualified.

The best solution is a playoff, but even the selection process for that might be unperfect if they choose a very limited number of teams.
And the Orange Bowl IS Louisville vs Wake Forest.

Notice they are dragging out the Rose Bowl announcement as long as possible. They want the Michigan and LSU fans on the edge of thier seats as long as possible.
