[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Was reading about air shipments of shrink wrapped pallets of $100 bills (one shipment alone was over $2 billion) being sent to Iraq and it being lost, spent, handed out without any thing like controls, and how the total was pushing 12 BILLION dollars total! I for one say that its time Iraq start paying their own damn bills, they can sell their damn oil, and instead of losing billions in a damn war zone without any idea of where its ending up, our spendthrift government could cut our damn taxes!

It time we Americans began to demand an accounting of the government's spending, because we're paying them to rob us, inflict more taxes and becoming even more isolated from us. If nothing else, Iraq should be happy to sell us their damn oil at a very nice discount, if only to make it clear that they are going to pay their way. I'm tired of being ripped off by Washington, and the crooks who have taken up long term campaigns of loot and pillage on the LEGAL American citizens in their guise as our political 'leaders'. (politician, is both the longest longest spelling of liar and thief as far as I'm concerned!

Here here! Well said, my man. And the speaker of the house (notice I used lower case) needs to have a huge jet to haul her rear end around. Filthy rich, yet the tax payers much shell out for her extravagance. She needs security, so she says. Man such grifting of the taxpayers of America.

Thank you. The Eastern Bluebird is making a comeback in this area and this winter, there are two pairs visiting my feeders, the first time I've seen bluebirds.

Here where I am in California, the assortment of birds isn't as plentiful as those that I have seen when I lived back east. I have seen eagles, red tail hawks, pigeons, blue jays, crows and seagulls.

opened the pot of Java
to havea cupa of morning blaster
instead you've opened up the ceiling plaster
with your roar to last
faster than the every lovin'
alabaster caster on the stove.

I fear my Jabber Wocky prose-atry
