My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Thought of the Day

"One's mind, once stretched by a new idea,
never regains its original dimensions."

Why can't everyone in this country see it?

We have seen it throughout history and even in our time, but the media seem to be all for killing Liberty.

Because, Lady, it can't happen in America, or so "they" think. Too, comfortable in their lives to care about what is happening about them.

History does repeat itself. Rome fell, so will America some day. Life as we know it will never be the same. Guess that is why I hang on to the past so strongly. It's a known thing. the future is the future and cannot be seen by those with blind folds on their eyes.

formally ended with the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe

California, Nevada, Utah, and parts of Colorado and Wyoming
in exchange for $15 million.

Also in 1993, first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton banned

with his private secretary in Rome, one day after the
84-year-old pontiff was hospitalized with a breathing
problem and the flu.

Also in 2005, in a wide-ranging State of the Union
address, President Bush said that U.S. troops would

Johnn,

Grassfire has just learned that Fox TV's "America's Most Wanted"
will run a story featuring Agents Ramos and Compean, this
Saturday, February 2. These are the two Border Patrol Agents now
in prison for doing their job, and trying to arrest a drug runner bringing
nearly a million dollars in pot into the US. The 'Justice' (?) department
gave the illegal amnesty for his crimes to testify against the Agents.

According to the National Border Patrol Council, the
Department of Justice has twice asked that the show
not be aired!

Johnn, Grassfire is urging ALL members of our immigration
and border agents team to check your local listings, and
make a point to watch Fox television’s America’s Most Wanted
this Saturday, February 2.

Contact your friends and family and urge them to watch as well.

Thanks for standing with Grassfire!

It's been a wicked week
With Wizard on the run
We gone abroad to seek
The beginning of the sun.

Tis I who heats the coffee
Though Wiz rises at a run.
I don't have his magic key
So mornings I am a Dragon.

The term Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon derives
from a Chinese saying that advises one to conceal one's strengths
from others in order to preserve the element of surprise.

Hi, SJB! Have you been among the missing or have I? LOL!

Good to see you and thanks for the comment on the tagline. I change them once in a while on whim and some of them are excellent, but this is the first one I've written myself.

I came up with that saying years ago when I realized my good mood ticked some people. It inspired me to tick people off that way pretty much permanently.

So, where have you or I been?
