                  My Dragon Fly and Me

 If I could be a Dragon Fly
 and wing my way through the sky
 I would never be shy
 just me and my Dragon Fly!

                  By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun
 by day we would hide from the sun
 our fragile wings would come undone

                  On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide
 we would dip and we would glide
 through the heavens open wide
 and scatter diamonds in the night sky
 my Dragon Fly and me...

                  And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night...
 to kiss their face in our flight
 much to their surprise and delight
 my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

                  Such a view do we share away up here in the air
 of breezes soft through our hair
 my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Good night everyone.

    The circle appears to be circuitous. I'll now wish you a very good evening. I hope your day went well.

To: Soaring Feather
    Yeah, we did manage to hit the circle in the same place at the same time, didn't we.

    Yup!

We are having wonderful sunshine today with lower temps today. The long range forecast for the week is rain and snow mix. This is not "normal" for the Northeast in mid January. Usually, we are knee deep in snow and cold.

Have a wonderful day. ;)

To: Soaring Feather
    We currently have clear skys and temps in the low 30's. There's frost on the ground. Yes, it is rather unusual for you in the East to not have snow now. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Take care.

    Looks like some of us have a premature case of spring fever.

    LOL Spring Fever indeed. LOL

To: Soaring Feather
    By the evidence you've posted, you can't deny it.

         | | I heard a bird at dawn Singing sweetly on a tree,
 That the dew was on the lawn,
 And the wind was on the lea;
 But I didn't listen to him,
 For he didn't sing to me.

 I didn't listen to him,
 For he didn't sing to me
 That the dew was on the lawn
 And the wind was on the lea;
 I was singing at the time
 Just as prettily as he.

 I was singing all the time,
 Just a prettily as he,
 About the dew upon the lawn
 And the wind upon the lea;
 So I didn't listen to him
 As he sang upon a tree.

    LOL. So, without snow on the ground where you are, do you have spring fever?

    Not me. We have had winters that were spring-like the whole winter season, but that's not the norm. This is rare warm weather and I am not fooled.

 This good weather probably means we'll get 5 feet of snow in February, but I am still praying for that long, mild winter!

    Well, I hope you get your wish to a degree. But water levels need to be replenished, so precip is needed.

    Beautiful poem and graphic. Thank You.

    Cal needs water, but we don't. We're swimming in it. This year especially has been very rainy. The rain I get used to, the accompanying darkness I hate.

To: Lady Jag
    Yeah, I can relate to the "darkness" issue. More sunlight will be welcomed. Cal doesn't necessarily need more water (other than So Cal). The problem is that Cal sells water to other states and does not have enough storage capacity to keep up with that outside demand.
