My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Hi SD, very nice, thanks.
On Christmas Eve, I was at my daughters home where we all gather. It is a tradition in our little clan. There are eleven of us (my kids and grandkids) so it was grand. Good food, good laughter.

Happy to hear that. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day at my dad's house with my step-mother and her son's family. We also had 11 people, plus four dogs and two birds. We had a really good time and great food. I felt my dad's spirit with us, and was comforted by that.

Shalom.

Easter:
A Christmas Poem
(Christmas Eve 2006)
The Christmas Light
and we, His ornaments,
hanging
from a tree.
The Christmas Gift
so given
for thee.
The DevilÕs kingdom becoming
unglued, his evil wrapping
ripped to shreds
to the sounds of Angles
and childrenÕs hymns.
The Throne of David
through MaryÕs womb
See, The Branch!
bursting forth
to conquer sin
and vanquish death
upon His holy Limbs!
From shepherdÕs field
The Lamb is born!
Oh, soon
will the templeÕs
curtainbe torn!
Glory to Christ
our Christmas Tree!
Born of men
and then cut down,
hot blood for thee!
Jesus! Jesus!
May this Birth
be our new death
for Thee!

It's better to light a candle than curse the darkness.
Lovely graphic, Lady.

Soft, warm, gentle candle-glow... flame a-curl in th' breeze, a-givin' light through th' fallin' snow, amongst th' deadened leaves. A-shinin' as bright an' as much as it might- a-lightin' a lovely an' snowy night.
Soft, warm, gentle candle-glow... a splendid Christmas feast, a-waitin' th' comin' of family, from th' eldest to th' least. Grandma's a-fixin' punkin pies, turkey an' cornbread dressin', as Grandpa kneels to offer th' Traditional Christmas Blessin'.
Soft, warm, gentle candle-glow... an organ softly a-chimin', children, hand-in-hand, 'round th' Christmas Tree- a-flickerin' candles brightly a-shinin'... Softly a-singin' 'Silent Night'-loveliest of Christmas Song- while grown-ups gather at th' parlor door to sing or hum along.
Soft, warm, gentle candle-glow... th' Christmas Feast's now ready, th' dressin's done, the turkey's carved... here comes th' jelled cranberry! Punkin pies to be sliced, a-waitin', crisp and brown- 'Come my children, ' Grandpa calls, ''tis time to gather 'round.'
Soft, warm, gentle candle-glow...fireplace a-burnin' mesquite, a mother a-rockin' her little one, a-croonin' low an' sweet. Th' Old Sandman'll soon appear, a-sprinklin' his Silvery Sand as feathery snowflakes dance about- a-carryin' him 'way to Christmas-Land.
