My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Nice traditional card this morning, Lady!
We have had a chill down today, and it's kinda gloomy. I am just going to kick back today. ;)

Hi everybody!
Well now I'm back up in Chiang Mai, that's where I was when I took all those sunny temple shots, the rising dragon, and where I was when the coup hit! Wow, what a full plate I'm having this year.
Down in Bangkok I imbibed in some wine (maybe a little too fast) and true to form some weenie Euros were on the spot to make faces from tables far away. Not that I was dancing on the table or anything, I was just eating an Indian combo plate, but these bald headed Brits rolled their eyes at me and made these stupid displays.
I was a little upset, plus I had to catch the all night bus up north (I save enough for six nights board if I put up with the boring 12 hour drive instead of indulging in the 1 hour flight), then had to drag my book heavy bags around until I found a place, so it was a long time!
Now I've re-calibrated my ornery level and am spitting venom back at the willfully venomous. Some old Brit clown just tried to mock me by singing "Aya Da Lye" that chorus from Simon and Garfunkle's song, whatever it is. That's how low class these Euros and, sad to say, lots of Brits are too. Just sing songs or roll eyes at someone who looks (majestically) American. So I barked in his face "You British?!!", and he nodded and backed off, chicken, chicken.
Anyway, I'll hang out here for a while, I don't know how long, couple weeks while I get my Indian visa, I think I'll skip Cambodia for historical reasons.
This is supposed to be the big high season for tourism but the coup, and I think much, much more, the visa screw job they gave us, and up to 100,000 long time Euros (Euros are like 96% of their tourist base), all of whom no doubt went home and complained bitterly, has pretty much evaporated the season. It is more busy than the low season, but compared to what the high season should be like, it's a disaster! Reap what you sow!

Hi HO, starbase, good to hear from you!!
I have to put the name of the town over the rising dragon picture. I must do the same for all the photos.
It's 2:10 am here, I was just thinking about going to bed.
Enjoy the tunes while you're here.
Keep a stiff upper lip around those Brits. ;)
