But maybe you'd do better than you think. Or there's a niche you'd do well in - eldercare or pediatric nursing, say. Nursing is one career they can't get enough people for.
Try a four hour a week shift for a while and see! At the very least it'll be something else to do. You might meet a cute doctor, too...

I suppose I could see myself doing something with kids or the elderly...that's a little different. But even so, I dunno. Responsibilty is scary. ;-) Like I said, though, the courses would be interesting. Maybe I'll take some anatomy and physiology and such.
Looks like the hospital requires a six month commitment for volunteers, so I reckon either way I should wait until I know what I'll be doing with my spare time before I commit to any such thing.
Spending way too much time goofing around with the new phone. It plays music, which I've always thought was a pretty silly thing for a phone to do. On the other hand, I'm not really supposed to play CDs in the computer at work, and it means I can bring whatever I want to listen to without having to mess with another gadget. Kinda nice.
