Roger that. Makes sense. Wood, though, doesn't even get so cold to the touch like stone or tile would. So in my case, even if the house cools off at night, the floor isn't that cold.

I don't like for my feet to be cold, and even on wood, in the winter they DO get cold! I even wear slippers in the summer because the slate tiles in the foyer are cold!
