The fence made a hugh difference in how I perceived the place. So did Cisco. ;-) Among other things.
Ungh...I'm supposed to drop the car off to be worked on in a tiny bit here. Was kind of thinking of trying to walk home, so of course it's raining.
On the bright side, I think I can hear chickadees whistling their spring call. They're probably just being optimistic, but... Unless chickadees out here don't actually drop the whistle for winter.
Still no birds coming to my feeder. I think it's Cisco's fault.
You have smarter birds than we do, the pups have eaten two little birds and they still come down...
I have a bad feeling about the prospects of baby bunnies this spring.
Doll.... why don't you just ask for a ride home? :~) We're right here!
Might not be Cisco's fault. I've found that birds can be leery of new things. If I change even the brand of sunflower seeds, the birds will stay away from the feeder for a couple of days. I finally had to end up moving a feeder before the birds would use it. I had another feeder up in the exact same place, but the birds refused to use the new one. Who knows what goes on in a bird's brain?
