Well, nobody wanted to eat it, and it wilted and got rather brown and soggy. I hadn't bothered to climb back in there and clean it up, I just left it there. Now it's very definitely growing! :~)
(Just in taking a break from busting ice off the drive. Figure I ought to FReep while I can still type.... before all my muscles seize up, that is.)
Hmmmm.....there's an idea. Now I know what to do with the celery in the fridge.
Heh, I wonder if it will tempt the squirrels now that it's all shiny and new!
I'm going to try rooting celery when it warms up here! I always feel so guilty throwing out celery, much more a problem in the summer than the winter when I use it in soups.
Cool! I thought it looked like it was rooting last time I saw it.
Just goes to show, almost anything will start growing here. I figure "On Top of Spaghetti" probably took place somewhere in Washington...
