Dunno where else to go, though.

I know you hate going there. But Walmart, and sometimes Sam's Club have shops in the front. You can usually get your glasses for a bit cheaper.

And you don't have to go all the way in the store...

They're pretty similar to Pearle Vision, but they may have a better selection of frames.

I'll keep that in mind, though.

I did check Penneys, but they only had an abysmal selection of truly hideous frames.

My main trouble is that I'm spoiled...my current frame is one of those flexible titanium alloy things - I got a really good deal on 'em at the time. Vey light weight, vey hard to break. Most of what I looked at today felt really clunky yet fragile compared to these. Or *extremely* pricey.

But I also can't go without glasses for a week while lenses get fitted, which is what Pearle would need.

We've gotten Joseph last two paris of glasses at Wally World. Just take your prescription to them. The shop is at the front of the store, and they usually have a wide selection of frames at pretty good prices.
