The Hobbit Hole XXXII - Sweet is the sound of falling rain
The Freeper Hobbit Hole Blog ^ | December 1, 2006

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Why would you even ask such a silly, silly question?

But I don't get to see him for hours and hours more! (whine)

How did I make it with those weeks and weeks between visits anyway.

I know. I found it on the thread about the bear pictures. Best laugh I've had all day.

I'd like to see Jack kill Ben, aka NotHenry, from LOST.

I'd pay to see it. Ecurbh is boycotting LOST this season, though that's hard to do in a small house if I'm watchin' it. I'm going to give it just a few chances this season to stop with the weird sadistic mind games and get on a story line that is fun to watch.

LOST has jumped the shark... or as they say on the LOST forums, shook the bunny.

So far I don't care enough about the new folks to even want them hurt.

I'm really not bonding with or despising much of anyone this year. Bleh.

Prayers for the interview. Let us know how it went.

Also, about the fire...we had a close one here too this past year. Theboy tossed one of thegirl's shirts up in the air (because he was mad at her) and it landed on one of those halogen lamps. The lamp was turned on, but on very low. Days later, minutes after getting home from church, the smoke detectors went off. We didn't even smell smoke. So, we went around looking for the cause and ended up tossing the whole lamp outside. Theboy was in tears for quite some time. We had the talk about how bulbs can get very hot and how anger at someone makes God sad. We were very thankful and still are. Thenewboy tried to tell thegrandparents about it later, but sometimes you can't completely understand him. They wondered what he was talking about and said he has such an imagination. :-)
