Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
I already got a seed catalog!
Oh, we had fresh spinach from our garden in our omelets this morning...
Heh...maybe I should switch to one of these.

This is Michigan, where we've had 40-and-rainy weather for two months now. That's following the coldest October on record, with the earliest recorded snowfall.
It's been an odd year all around, hasn't it?
They still haven't had any real cold back home. Little snow that melted in a day or so, and not much else. And January is usually the coldest month!
I don't.
My Burpee catalog was waiting for me when I got back from NC. I need to plan better and not have so many tomatoes.
Sigh... getting ready for work here. On day two of low-carb diet. Hopefully this will work better than the 'just cut back on calories' plan did.
Puppies are not happy. They don't get breakfast cuz they're going to the vet for neutering in an hour.
Yup. I now have Burpee, Stark Bros, Cooks's Garden and a couple others. All within days of each other. I guess they 'knew' I couldn't get to planning out this year's garden until Christmas was behind me. teehee

Oh you haven't begun to see unhappy yet. Poor pups.
Sorry 'bout that double post!
Yeah, well, maybe it'll keep them closer to home. Turned around for two minutes yesterday and they'd wandered halfway down the street. Don't want them wandering after some dog in heat...
I've got Cingular. Their coverage seems to be pretty good. I've got no complaints. The signal is weak out at the beach, but I think theirs is a good or better then anything else I've tried.

Mornin' folkses...
Heh.
I couldn't remember any of my passwords this morning. Apparently a lot of other people couldn't remember theirs either 'cause IT was swamped. At least I was nice to them. :)
I'm getting prompted to change...but I figured I'd better put it off until after the holiday, or I'd have been trying to help folks who'd forgotten passwords without being able to get in myself. Oops.
hehehe... I'm wading in very slowly this morning after being off all week. This'll be a busy week, I'm guessing. Time to show all that stuff that I [ahem] was supposed to have finished before year end.
Dang.
Ungh...I didn't bring enough coffee.
Then again, "enough coffee" is *almost* an oxymoron.
Forgot my sodas at home. Over a week of sleeping to seven or later made getting up at 6 a bit hard. My brain still doesn't function. On the plus side it's almost lunchtime and I'm not very hungry. Starting a diet and the first few days are hard enough without hunger pangs.
Thanks!
