That's a good thing! :)
"Meaning no disrespect to the religious convictions of others, I still can't help wondering how we can explain away what to me is the greatest miracle of all and which is recorded in history. No one denies there was such a man, that he lived and that he was put to death by crucifixion. Where...is the miracle I spoke of? Well consider this and let your imagination translate the story into our own time -- possibly to your own hometown. A young man whose father is a carpenter grows up working in his father's shop. One day he puts down his tools and walks out of his father's shop. He starts preaching on street corners and in the nearby countryside, walking from place to place, preaching all the while, even though he is not an ordained minister. He never gets farther than an area perhaps 100 miles wide at the most. He does this for three years. Then he is arrested, tried and convicted. There is no court of appeal, so he is executed at age 33 along with two common thieves. Those in charge of his execution roll dice to see who gets his clothing -- the only possessions he has. His family cannot afford a burial place for him so he is interred in a borrowed tomb. End of story? No, this uneducated, propertyless young man who...left no written word has, for 2,000 years, had a greater effect on the world than all the rulers, kings, emperors; all the conquerors, generals and admirals; all the scholars, scientists and philosophers who have ever lived -- all of them put together. How do we explain that? ...[U]nless he really was what he said he was." --Ronald Reagan
He doesn't, by chance, drive a hot rod does he?
:-)
Very cool graphics and thank you for the Christmas wish.
And let me take this opportunity to wish you the same.....
You have been a great friend on this thread, WCG, this thread that attracts the die-hards of the sport we have so much passion for.
You're passion / loyalty is obvious to all. For that, I have the utmost respect. Good / bad, ugly / pretty, 1st / DNF -- that is my driver!
Unfortunately, there are not too many real men / female role model's, that kids can look at, in today's sports scene.
Nascar would be the execption.
May God Bless all of the drivers and their family's!
And may God Bless you, WCG...you have done so much for this thread, you're Nascar enthusiasm knows no bounds. You are certainly a wealth of information...and I thank you for that.
I wish you and family a very Merry Christmas and may the best be with you for the New Year!
4 + 4 = 8.
Don't write the old man off just yet. All's he needs is a good hot rod to drive!
With all the mindless vitriol directed at Jeff through his years in NASCAR, the man remains a very decent guy who is making a difference in this world far beyond racecar driving and his celebrity stature.
Thanks! Here's to a healthy 2007 baby, wife and season for Jeff.
Great Reagan quote. I needed that after today's dose of taxation news here in the land of Cheese and Beer.

I want him. hehe!
Thanks WCG. Merry Christmas to you too!!
Ahh! MERRY CHRISTMAS WCG!
Hope you have a great weekend. I am going over to DEI next week with the kids to check out the place again. I'll say hello for you.
Even though I just sold my F150, I don't think I will be replacing it with a Tundra, even though they make them in San Antonio!
It's my favorite, simple and to the point. ;)
Thank you Mac those were very kind words and very much appreciated.
I hope you, the wife and that special boy have a wonderful Christmas.
I agree Nascar is a good role model for young people. Most of the drivers set a very good example. One in particular. :) I can't help gush over him. Yep..."Good / bad, ugly / pretty, 1st / DNF -- that is my driver!" For sure. always a fan!
Don't forget 44=88 :)
Here's a little something for you guys!

Now if we only had Ronald Reagan in 08!!
Merry Christmas.........we may get snow flakes.
I'm working on it. Forgive me if I over do it...
